What Hermes does
Hermes is a personal automation tool used only by its owner. It connects to Google Workspace services so the owner can review today's calendar, triage email, draft documents, and look up information through a single chat interface.
Google services Hermes accesses
- Google Calendar — to surface today's meetings and upcoming events.
- Gmail — to triage incoming messages and let the owner compose replies.
- Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides — to read and edit the owner's documents.
Privacy
Hermes is used by a single individual (the project owner). It does not share data with any third party, does not transmit data outside the owner's own devices, and does not retain personal data on any server beyond the short-lived caches required to respond to a request.
